At Exmoor Distillery, we produce exceptional spirits from raw materials with passion, place and purpose. Nestled on the southern gateway to the breathtaking Exmoor National Park in Dulverton, Somerset, our independent, family-run distillery crafts premium gins, rums and vodka that capture the wild beauty of the South West and reflect our commitment to quality over quantity.
Founded in 2017 by John and Nicola Smith, Exmoor Distillery grew from a lifelong dream shared over three decades of travel, conversation and a mutual love for fine spirits. After years of sampling the world’s finest spirits, they realised there was something missing — a spirit that married exceptional craftsmanship with a true sense of place. That realisation sparked a bold ambition: to create spirits that could rival the best in the world, yet be unmistakably rooted in the rugged landscape they call home.
Our distillery is deeply connected to the land. We draw pure water from the Exmoor Aquifer, a unique local source, and use it throughout fermentation, distillation and proofing to give our spirits a distinctly smooth and natural profile — an authentic expression you won’t find anywhere else.
Craftsmanship with a Personal Touch
At the heart of Exmoor Distillery is true artisan craft. Each spirit is meticulously produced on-site, with traditional hand-made care matched with a modern distillation precision. This attention to detail means every bottle leaving our facility embodies our exacting standards — from carefully selected botanicals in our gins to the rich, flavour-forward barrels in our rum production.
Our flagship Northmoor Gin — sets the tone for what we do: vibrant, aromatic spirits with complex yet balanced character. Since then, we’ve expanded our repertoire to include several expressions, from Navy strength gins to barrel-aged rums and smooth botanical vodka, each showcasing our commitment to innovation without compromise.

Our spirits have earned international acclaim, including prestigious accolades at competitions such as the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, where our gins have taken home both gold and double gold medals. Singer Instruments was established in 1934 and has a long-standing track record in developing and manufacturing mechatronic workstations and laboratory automation robotics. Our world-leading, specialist products are used to facilitate and accelerate genetic and genomic research around the world. We supply public and private research institutions in multiple facets of biological sciences including Genetics, Neuroscience, Systems Biology, Cancer Biology, Biofuel Engineering and microbiology.
Our premises, on the edge of Exmoor National Park in Somerset, England, is a state-of-the-art factory with full, virtual prototyping facilities, precision CNC manufacture and robotic coordinate measurement for quality control. We design, manufacture, program, assemble and QC all of our core products on site.
Having worked alongside and added value to laboratory research for over 40 years, we are a truly integrated and respected member of the genetics research community.

Adaptacar was established on the basis of strong family values and placing the customer at the heart of what we do, and still remains very much our focus today. We provide a personal service and invest in frequent training to ensure that our engineers can provide the highest quality of service.
We are proud to be one of a very small handful of qualified installers for Space Drive system in the UK. Space Drive, manufactured by PARAVAN in Germany, is an incredible piece of life changing technology, which allows people with minimal movement/strength to safely drive from their wheelchair. We are very proud to be Approved Registered Installers for Motability. Motability is a Charity which helps fund vehicle adaptations by enabling customers to exchange their Motability Allowance to fund the lease of a brand new vehicle, specifically adapted to your bespoke needs.

Crampton Creations
Hi, quite simply I make handmade wooden games, game accessories, homeware items and gifts. From chessboards, cribbage sets, lamps, bottle openers, phone holders to my take on some old pub games. All items for sale are made by me in a very small workshop located on the fringes of Exmoor National Park in deepest darkest Somerset from solid hardwoods. I am based out of Windfall Furniture, Sea Lane Dunster where my dad makes beautiful live edge furniture.

Exmoor Caviar
Producers of finest ‘Cornish Salted’ British caviar. UK’s only caviar farm. Available to buy online.
The Exmoor Caviar farm is situated at the foothills of the Exmoor National Park where 40 million litres of fresh Devonshire water, naturally filtered through slate, shale and sandstone, pass through the farm every day. The sturgeon fish are allowed to grow at the pace that nature intended in this fresh cool mineral water. The clean and natural delicate flavours of the caviar are enhanced by locally harvested Cornish Sea Salt.
Exmoor Caviar can now be seen on the menus of no less than 80 Michelin Stars in the UK.

Styles Farmhouse Ice Cream Ltd
Styles Farmhouse Ice Cream was established by David and Sue Baker in 1988 at their farm in the heart of Exmoor. All the ice creams and sorbets are still lovingly produced by our local team using solar power at our new, state of the art ice cream processing plant, on the edge of the Quantock Hills in West Somerset.
Passionate about their ice cream, David and his dedicated team use whole fresh cow’s milk, which they collect from a herd of West Country Jersey Cows. To this they add fresh West Country double and clotted cream and the very best natural flavours. The Jersey Cow’s milk makes our ice cream so much creamier than the average.
