With a passion to encourage a culture of using purpose grown trees as the crop they were intended for and in turn promoting healthy, working woodlands, emphasizing the relationship it has with those of us that live here. A symbiosis that has been lost in recent times.

Jeremy Scott Racing
Overlooking Wimbleball Lake, Jeremy and Camilla Scott train National Hunt and Flat horses at Higher Holworthy Farm. The horses are exercised around the farm as well at the country lanes, braving the elements and the local traffic. We employ a team of about 15 local specialist riders and travel the country looking for the next winner. Our biggest success stories are Dashel Drasher, who was bred on the farm and won the Grade 1 Ascot Chase, Melodic Rendezvous, winner of the 2013 Tolworth Hurdle Grade 1 at Sandown and Gone To Lunch who was a top class staying chase.
A family run yard, converted from a dairy farm about 15 years ago, their daughters, Georgina and Laura are the future of the business. We continue to farm sheep and cattle as well as the horses. We always have horses for sale or shares available. If you would like to come a taste the hospitality of Higher Holworthy and see the yard, please give us a call to arrange a visit.

All of our charcoal is produced from timber sourced from the local and surrounding area to the National Park.
Our Charcoal is 100% pure and natural with no added binders and accelerants. Our Bar-B-Que charcoal burns at a high temperature and a clean burn. Our Bio-Char is a natural soil improver and can increase plant health and yield.
Both are made in a retort which is 75% greener and cleaners to the environment than a traditional ring kiln.

Home from home for your lovely pooch. I will take care of your dog whilst you do other things. You can leave your precious furry friend in the knowledge that he/she will be treated as part of our furry family. No kennels or cages. Just fun. We have direct access to the moors so lots of walking, playing in the doggy play barn, cooling off in the paddling pool or just relaxing in a comfy bed if not feeling energetic. Fully licenced (AWLO100 4 Stars) and insured. Short hourly visits or day/night boarding.
