The Kitchen opened in Autumn 2023 as a place to enjoy the finest seafood in a relaxed setting.
Our ever-changing menu is centered around our Porlock Bay Oysters and other locally sourced shellfish and ingredients.
Restaurant Opening Hours – Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun 12pm to 4pm and Fri & Sat 6pm to 8pm
Oyster dressings are changed regularly and can vary day-to-day. A selection of our favorites are as follows:
Raw Dressed Oysters – Exmoor Cider Jelly, Apple / Mandarin, Pickled Chilli, Tarragon / Cucumber, Crème Fraiche, Dill / Lemon and black pepper granita
Dashi, jalapeno and ginger
Hot Dressed Oysters – Grilled; Crab Butter, Pickled Samphire / Grilled; Rose Harissa, Crushed Nuts / Deep Fried; XO Sauce, Pink Ginger / Gratin; Smoked Cheddar, Garlic Butter / Tom yum oyster / Oysters Rockefeller / Deep fried oyster with wasabi mayo, ginger & sesame
Other – Moules Mariniére / Potted Crab / Fish and Chips / 1/2 or Whole Lobster, wild garlic butter and fries / Burrata, watercress pesto, rocket and pistachio / Soft Shell Crab bugers and fries
