About this business:
Two self-catering cottages in secluded woodland setting near the beach on the Ashley Combe estate. The estate was formerly the holiday home of computer pioneer Ada Lovelace and one of the cottages is named after her. Both cottages are easily accessible by car and only a short walk from Porlock Weir. Cosy and adapted to modern living, they are an ideal base for exploring Exmoor. The Southwest Coast Path is nearby, as well as the Porlock Pilgrim’s Trail and the Coleridge Way.
Guests have direct contact with the owner, who is an experienced host and particularly delighted to have been welcoming returning guests year after year.
